Riling Miss Stinky

Since we don't have a regular maid, everybody at home pulls their weight when it comes to housework.

My hubby and I do most of everything that needs to get done. My eldest helps out a bit with the dish washing and room cleaning. And my youngest has the smelly task of putting shoes back into the closet.

Everytime she is told to clear up the living room (meaning keep whoever's shoes in the closet), she would always moan and say "It's a stinky job!"

So I decided to catch the momentous occasion:

Don't know what it is with the camera that makes
her smile so much even when she is doing her
"stinky job". Here she is collecting mommy's
running shoes.
Here she is showing her frustration at having to pick
up mommy's mess......not quite convincing enough
though! LOL!

Such a heartwarming photo shoot, haha....

Mommy Moments - Hairstyles

mommy momentsYears back, at the ripe old age of 25, I discovered hair colouring. And I’m not just talking about normal black or dark brown hair colour, more like every colour in the rainbow! Since then, I have never restrained myself when it comes to doing something wild with my hair. Be it turning it blond or plum, or braiding it African style – it is one of my features that I experiment with quite a lot. (Because I know the damage will grow out in a few months :-))

So it’s no wonder that my eldest likes to experiment with her hairstyle as well. Of course, school rules prohibit her from colouring her hair so she has resorted to ponytails, pigtails, upstyles, etc.

Herewith her going-to-school look from Monday to Friday. Friday being a special civilians day at school so she was not in uniform and had her hair down (not every Friday, just that particular one).

P.S. My eldest has been out of school for a whole week last week and offered to put together these photos. It has come to a point now that she is QC-ing (quality controlling) all photos of her that grace the public's eye, most especially my blog, where she gets her most exposure. Argh! The pains of being the mother of a blog celebrity!
